What we hold,and what we don't.

What we collect

• Your birth details

  Date, time and place of birth. Used only to compute your chart. Stored in your browser session - gone the moment you close the tab. Never sent to our servers unless you ask us to email your reading.

• Your email (only if you give it)

  If you ask us to email your reading, we keep your address and the reading record on our database (Supabase, hosted in the EU). Used to send the PDF and let you retrieve the reading later. Never sold, never used for marketing without a separate opt-in.

• Payment information

  Handled entirely by Razorpay. We never see your card number, UPI details or bank info - Razorpay confirms payment success and we store an order ID against your reading record so you can return to it.

How we use it

Birth details compute your chart. The chart matches against our perfume library. The match becomes your reading. That's the whole loop.

Email lets us send the PDF and lets you come back to a paid Deep Reading later. Payment info stays with Razorpay. None of this gets shared, sold or licensed to a third party.

Tracking and analytics

We use Meta Pixel - the tracking script Meta (Facebook and Instagram's parent company) provides - to understand which marketing reaches the right people. It only loads after you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you click Decline, it never runs.

• What it sees

  Pages you visit on Vedra, key actions you take (cast a reading, click the Deep Reading button, complete a purchase), and basic device info (browser, OS, screen size). It does Not see your name, email, birth details, or the contents of your reading.

• Where it goes

  Meta Platforms Inc. We don't see the raw data on our end - we only see aggregate counts in the Meta dashboard.

• How to opt out

  Click Decline on the cookie banner. If you already clicked Accept and changed your mind, clear your browser's local storage for vedra.in - the banner will reappear and you can choose Decline. We'll also re-prompt automatically once a year so the choice stays fresh.

• Retention

  Meta anonymises pixel data after 90 days. Your individual visits stop being identifiable past that window.

We also use Vercel Analytics - the platform Vedra is hosted on - to count overall visits. That's first-party and fully anonymous (no cookies, no fingerprinting), and runs whether or not you accept the cookie banner.

How long we keep things

• ·Birth details in your browser: this session only. Closing the tab erases them.
• ·Email + saved reading record: until you ask us to delete them. We don't age them out automatically.
• ·Tracking data with Meta: anonymised after 90 days.
• ·Cookie-consent choice: stored in your browser for one year, then we ask again.

Your rights

India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 gives you a clear set of rights over the data we hold about you. We'll honour the same rights for any visitor, regardless of location.

• ·See what we have. Email info@vedra.in and we'll send you the records tied to your address.
• ·Correct it. Same address - tell us what to update and we'll do it.
• ·Delete it. Email us and we'll wipe your reading record, email, and order history within seven days.
• ·Withdraw consent for tracking. Click Decline on the cookie banner, or clear your browser's local storage for vedra.in.

We aim to respond to every request within seven days. If you're ever unsure, ask - we'd rather over-explain than leave you guessing.
